About CheckMLM
CheckMLM is a platform for verifying the legitimacy of direct sales (MLM) companies and health products in Malaysia. Our goal is to protect Malaysian consumers from scams and dangerous products.
Data Sources
- KPDNHEP — Licensed direct sales companies list from the Ministry of Domestic Trade.
- NPRA / KKM — QUEST 3+ database for pharmaceutical and supplement product registration.
- KKM Alerts — Product warnings for items containing banned or dangerous substances.
- Community Reports — User experiences that have been reviewed and verified.
AI Analysis
Our AI safety score analyzes five key dimensions for each company:
- Pricing Transparency — Are product prices excessively marked up compared to the market?
- Compensation Plan — Is the focus on recruitment or actual product sales?
- Product Legitimacy — Are products registered with NPRA/KKM?
- Company Transparency — Is the company licensed and transparent?
- Red Flags — Community reports, pressure tactics, fake testimonials.
Each dimension is scored out of 20 points and combined into an overall safety score from 0 to 100. A higher score means the company looks safer and more legitimate; a lower score means more red flags were detected.
Community Reports
Users can submit reports about their experiences with MLM companies. Each report is reviewed by our team before being published. We encourage supporting evidence such as screenshots, links, and documents.
